OpticStudio 20.1now features tolerance presets from Asphericon, Edmund Optics, LaCroix Optics, and Optimaxin the Tolerance Wizard. This allows users to instantly set up the tolerance data editor with realistic values from their preferred vendor.

OpticStudio 20.1.3contains the following fixes and enhancements.Performance & Stability•ZOS-API–Case sensitive properties havebeen improved with the ZOS-API COM interface.•TrueFreeFormSurface–Fix for the TrueFreeForm Surface where some curvatures, typically steep with a lot of aspheric departure, resulted in a ray trace error. Now all rays from all field points can correctly trace through a TrueFreeForm SurfaceBug Fixes•Grid Point Selector–The Grid Point Selector for TrueFreeForm optimization now correctly shows the selected grid points.•Surface Sag Analysis–An update for the Surface Sag analysis window in 20.1 caused surfaces with Automatic or Floating apertures to ignore the Semi-Diameter when displaying the surface sag. Now all aperture types are correctly displayed in the Surface Sag analysis. Note that the actual sag calculation was not affected by any changes to 20.1
