GEOVIA Surpac 2024

GEOVIA Surpac 2024 release has focused on introducing new
caving roles, enhancing existing functionalities and fixing
issues raised in previous versions. The new roles introduced
are GEOVIA Cave Management System, GEOVIA Cave
Planning Manager, GEOVIA Cave Footprint Finder, and
GEOVIA Cave Scheduler. New capabilities have been
added to the GEOVIA Sectional Geology Modeler, GEOVIA
Mine Contributor and GEOVIA Block Modeler roles. There
are many other general improvements available through
the continued efforts to perfect existing functionalities

NEW GEOVIA SURPAC CAVING ROLES
The new Caving menu contains the sub-menus for Block
caving and Sublevel caving functionalities. The new caving
roles are listed below:
GEOVIA Cave Management System
The new GEOVIA Cave management system role includes
functions to support the block caving and sublevel caving
workflows in the Caving > Midterm Planning > Undercut
Tools menu.
GEOVIA Cave Planning Manager
The GEOVIA Cave Planning Manager role includes long
term planning tools for Block caving and Sublevel caving.
This enables the long and medium-term planning of a caving
operation, including detail analysis per draw point, flow
model analysis, and calibration.
