Leica Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS 2026.1.1: Point Cloud Registration Software

Cyclone REGISTER 360 PLUS 2026.1.1 is the latest service release of Leica Geosystems’ reality capture software. This version builds on the feature-rich 2026.1 release with targeted bug fixes to improve stability and workflow reliability for point cloud registration.

Bug Fixes in 2026.1.1

Leica Geosystems does not publish a public changelog for 2026.1.1 as a standalone document. However, the 2026.1.0 release notes confirm numerous issues resolved in the 2026.1 line, which are carried forward into 2026.1.1 :

• Export and Naming Issues: Resolved an issue where the setupinfo.csv generated during panoramic image export contained incorrect Setup names, showing original names instead of updated ones. Fixed an issue where the scale bar in orthoimages exported as DXF files appeared mirrored when opened in CAD software .

• Visualization and Display Bugs: Fixed an issue where panoramic images were not displayed in the Setup Cloud view in projects combining BLK2GO and RTC360 data. Corrected a problem where activating the TruSlicer view in a SiteMap caused the selected Bundle to disappear from view .

• User Interface and Workflow: Fixed an issue that blocked multi-selection for certain data type combinations in the Navigator panel (e.g., BLK ARC WayPoints together with standard Setups). Addressed an issue where SiteMaps appeared in a different order after creating a Finalized Registration .

New GeoTag System (Introduced in 2026.1)

A significant feature introduced in the 2026.1 release is the enhanced GeoTag functionality, which is fully supported in 2026.1.1. GeoTags can now be assigned to Predefined Categories (e.g., “Fire Safety Equipment” with a specific list of values) or Free Text Categories (e.g., “Next inspection date”) .

Multiple assets (files, links, multimedia) can now be attached to a single GeoTag. This new structure is fully supported in LGSx exports, ensuring compatibility with other Leica Geosystems tools . Legacy projects are automatically converted to the new GeoTag format when opened
